The Importance of Employee Feedback
Nourishing superb employee experience is the top concern for any organization across the world. But how to know how you fare as a company? Are you able to engage the team members? Do they feel connected? Is there any aspect that needs a change at the workplace? All these questions and many more get addressed by one crucial activity called EMPLOYEE FEEDBACK.
Feedback from an employee matters a lot. It acts as a source of motivation and encouragement for the company owners. This puts an organization to evolve for the better and fosters a positive work atmosphere. It helps to build a closely connected community where every opinion matters. People feel motivated for better performance when their feedback is respected.
For us, the growth partners at ScaleupAlly feedback from our workmates has always mattered. We feel feedback allows us the opportunity to know our strengths and weaknesses. Employee feedback practice this month has been greeted with overwhelming responses. Colleagues shared their views about the company and what has been their experience at ScaleupAlly.
It is good to hear that our colleagues love to work at ScaleupAlly. Nothing can boost us up more and keep us moving and scaling newer heights in the domain of IT service in Noida.

Read what Parag Sharma has to say about us. Here we go with the questions asked:
1. Top 3 things that you look for in a soul-nourishing career.
After completing my MCA, I nurtured the dream to work as a software developer and master the advanced technologies in the IT domain. Before joining ScaleupAlly, I had three years of experience working as a web developer. But joining ScaleupAlly was a good decision because I got all that I was looking for a self-nourishing career. First and foremost, the opportunity to sharpen professional skills and work with the latest and leading technologies in IT matters a lot. Second, leadership quality and the ability to motivate and inspire others. The third point is to achieve professional growth. I want to grow from a team member to a team lead.
2. What have been the pain points that you have encountered so far in your career? How ScaleupAlly addressed these issues?
I have been working with ScaleupAlly for more than a year now. Here, the atmosphere is different as compared to organizations I have worked with earlier. In my previous jobs, I felt that I did not get ample scope to showcase my skills. But, ScaleupAlly gave me challenging projects where I could bring the best performance. I did not get the opportunity to lead a project or plan the client project on my own. ScaleupAlly has always supported me to lead from the front. My opinions remained unheard at my earlier workplaces. The prime reason being – lack of connection between the seniors and the juniors. But it is different here. ScaleupAlly has always given weightage to my thoughts and opinions,
ScaleupAlly is a great place to work because you get wings to fly and bring the best in you. My seniors have always been the best guides and supported me in all my hurdles and pain points.
3. How ScaleupAlly helps in mastering your skills?
ScaleupAlly is a world where you can explore opportunities because your role is not strictly confined to JD. Though I joined ScaleupAlly as a software developer, I got to explore the roles of a software architect and team lead. The combination of these roles has taken my skills to the next level. I am more focused on learning the nuances of web-based and app-based software development
4. What are your takeaways from the company culture?
My takeaways from the company culture are a lot of good memories. The guidance from mentors and exposure to challenging software development projects have added value to my domain of work. The experience is so enriching here. I never felt like a colleague. Everyone out here is like a family with whom you have fun in co-working, feasting, and playing cricket. Be it work or leisure, the team spirit remains strong.
If I talk from a professional viewpoint, I got to learn many new things from my seniors and mentors. They believed in me more than I believed in myself. They allowed me to be a leader. I work remotely, but never have I felt isolated.
5. That’s so pleasant to hear. Parag, did ScaleupAlly happen to give you the autonomy to make decisions?
This organization has given me the autonomy to make independent decisions. Unlike most software organizations, ScaleupAlly has made me a part of the entire business planning and documentation process for client projects. This inclusion allows me a better understanding of the client’s requirements to build the software. Right from scratch to the final execution of the client project, I have always been an integral part of the client communication process.
6. Is there something you would like to add upon in your journey with ScaleupAlly?
As I already said, it has been wonderful to be a part of the Talent Team at ScaleupAlly. I have gathered rich experience in software projects which is sure to add feathers to my professional growth. ScaleupAlly brought out confidence in me and made me a go-getter.
7. Did you face professional challenges while working at ScaleupAlly during the pandemic?
No, I never faced professional challenges during COVID 19 pandemic. Honestly, when many organizations were laying off employees due to pandemic-induced economic losses, ScaleupAlly stood firm with us. There was no layoff and no salary cut for any of us.
COVID-19 pandemic has not been able to affect ScaleupAlly at all. Kudos to the strong marketing team of ScaleupAlly. The Sales team did a remarkable job. Their commitment towards project acquisition had been commendable in the pandemic scenario. They worked so hard to get the projects on time for the organization. We remained busy with multiple client projects throughout the year. Had the Sales team failed, there could have been challenges.
8. Parag, it would be great if you could share a cherishing memory from the first few days after joining ScaleupAlly.
Talking about a cherishing memory, I felt at home on the first day of work. Within a few days, I bonded with my colleagues like a big family.
9. What about the best adjective you could associate with ScaleupAlly?
For me, the best adjective would be ‘RELAXED’ to define the work environment. The work atmosphere at ScaleupAlly is conducive for professionals like me. You get to do the job in a stress-free ambiance. Even when you face difficulties or challenges in doing projects, you have your seniors with their friendly guidance.
10. What are your thoughts on project and performance reviews at ScaleupAlly?
There are performance reviews after the completion of an individual client project. Such review sessions happen to be the best way to share the new things learned and challenges faced with my seniors and coworkers.
ScaleupAlly has always appreciated my work, giving me the much-required boost. It is a nice feeling when CEO Manu Jain and seniors convey words of appreciation received from the clients.
Even peer feedback is appreciated here. We have the liberty to share our viewpoints about our colleagues and client projects.
11. Parag, is there something you want to change at ScaleupAlly?
No, I do not want to change anything at ScaleupAlly.
