Linee Bus is an Italy-based bus booking platform for famous tourist attractions. Users can search for the buses from the source station to the destination station, the platform returns multiple routes with various stops. Users can then finally select particular suiting the time, distance, and duration. They can track their booking status as well.
The client was facing a major challenge of providing a user-friendly platform that could help tourists to easily book their bus tickets and plan their travel itinerary. The platform needed to be scalable to accommodate a growing number of users and also have secure payment gateway integration.
Methodology and Solution
ScaleupAlly developed an end-to-end bus booking platform for Linee Bus using PHP, React Js, and MongoDB. The platform gives users the ability to search for buses from the source station to the destination station, view multiple routes with various stops, and select the best route based on time, distance, and duration.
The platform also had a tracking feature that allowed users to track their booking status. ScaleupAlly implemented Stripe Connect to split the payment across multiple parties, making it easy for the platform to handle secure transactions.
