The ScaleupAlly attracts hundreds of applicants every month. In the first step, we screen applications based on their experience, skill sets, and education. This helps us ensure only the true experts of their craft go to the next steps of the screening process.
Looking Beyond The CV
This informal discussion round is aimed at understanding their motivations, expectations, and more about their experience and how they came to be in the freelance business. Moreover, this step is designed to understand their professional acumen and commitment to the job.
Measuring Technical Prowess
Step three involves a couple of thorough technical tests that are designed to measure the technical prowess, problem-solving ability, and real-time thinking of the candidates.
Language and Personality Screening
A language proficiency test, accompanied by an interview aimed at further gauging the communication abilities is conducted in this step. Both of these help us understand the communication capabilities of the candidate, which are crucial to facilitate understanding of the projects they will undertake in the future.
Test or pilot projects
Finally, candidates that come through all the previously mentioned steps are given a real project that ensures they can deliver on the claims made in their applications. These projects are usually based on real-world scenarios and applications and can span over a few days to a few weeks to test the technical ability, professionalism, and problem-solving abilities of the candidate.
